Supporting veterans, active service members, and Ukrainian families affected by the war is one of the key pillars of Avellana Gold's corporate social responsibility strategy. As part of this long-term commitment, the company has launched a partnership with Horse Paradise, a social ranch and Ukraine's largest volunteer organisation dedicated to rescuing horses from frontline areas and delivering rehabilitation programmes that promote emotional recovery through human-animal interaction.

As part of this partnership, Avellana Gold supported a specialised emotional recovery programme during which Horse Paradise welcomed 11 families – women and children of fallen Ukrainian Defenders who are supported by the Children of Heroes Charitable Foundation. Over the course of three days, participants spent time in a safe and supportive environment where interaction with horses became a central element of the healing process.

The programme demonstrates how horses rescued from frontline areas can, in turn, become powerful partners in helping people recover from trauma. It is based on hippotherapy, a therapeutic approach built on purposeful interaction between humans and horses. The methodology is designed to strengthen emotional self-regulation, improve non-verbal communication, and restore a sense of safety. For people coping with profound loss, this form of therapy can help reduce stress, activate inner resilience, and support the gradual rebuilding of trust in the world around them.

In addition to hippotherapy sessions, the programme included creative workshops, time spent in nature, and professional psychological support. Each day offered opportunities for participants to find greater emotional balance and experience a sense of care and support.

"Supporting initiatives that help people recover from life's most difficult challenges is deeply important to us. The work carried out by the Horse Paradise team – giving rescued horses a second chance while helping the families of our fallen Heroes regain emotional strength and inner stability – is a meaningful contribution to our shared future. We sincerely thank the Horse Paradise team and the Children of Heroes Charitable Foundation for their dedication and are proud to be part of this important initiative," Avellana Gold said.

The partnership with Horse Paradise is one of Avellana
Gold's key social responsibility initiatives in 2026. The company will continue
its long-term cooperation with the social ranch, helping to expand its
therapeutic programmes and supporting projects that strengthen community
resilience while fostering responsible partnerships with civil society and
charitable organisations.
